Good evening, folks!
While working on dishes and curating recipes that are interesting, there are actually a few simple and ease recipes that we might as well miss out on. Some of them are so resourceful that it is important to share basic recipes as well. One of them, is the the traditional Indian drink which is made with yoghurt or buttermilk base with water. It can be sweet or savory and both forms are equally relished by everyone. It acts as a good probiotic drink, and has health benefits such as improving digestion, controlling bloating, bone health stimulator and much more.
As often as my family prefers the staple mango milk shake in summers, we are also glued to this super healthy drink. And so I am going to be sharing the recipe of the MANGO LASSI today. Pretty basic, like I said earlier, but a total must have into your recipe journals.
Whole milk (full fat)- 1/2 cup
Yoghurt (unflavoured,full fat)- 2 cups
Sugar/Honey- 1/4 cup
Mango (square diced)- 1 no.
Rose water- 1/2 tsp
Pistachios- 2-3 no.
- Take a blender, add the yoghurt, milk, ice cubes, sugar, rose water, and diced mango to it. Blend until smooth like texture with no lumps remaining.
- Pour into your favorite mason jars, top it with some chopped pistachios and enjoy!
- Additionally you can also add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract to this for enhanced flavor.
- You can swirl some cream on top of the lassi for the authentic taste of lassi.
Lassi is a total thirst quencher for the summer season. The super amazing part of this drink is that it can be ready in minutes, and well, fancy too 😉 Keep trying recipes at home and keep sharing pictures with us. It feels really nice to see what you guys cook in your lovely kitchen. If you use our recipes, please please tag us #thegirlwhobakesofficial and @thegirlwhobakesofficial on Instagram and Facebook.
